Description

2-Bromo-4-(trifluoromethyl)acetanilide is a fluorine-containing compound that is used in the preparation of membrane transporters. It interacts with the active conformation of these proteins, thereby inhibiting their function in transporting molecules across the membrane. The conformational analysis of this molecule has been shown to be incomplete due to its interaction with other molecules, which may lead to an impaired biological activity.
2-Bromo-4-(trifluoromethyl)acetanilide has been shown to inhibit the biosynthesis of certain compounds, such as neurotransmitters and antibiotics, by targeting enzymes involved in their synthesis. The chemical analysis of this molecule shows it can be detected by NMR spectroscopy and mass spectroscopy.
