Thiazol-2-yl-hydrazine hydrochloride (THZH) is an herbicide that acts as a plant growth regulator. It inhibits the transport of proteins across the nuclear membrane, which prevents the production of RNA and protein synthesis. THZH has been shown to inhibit cancer cells in humans and animal models, as well as neurological disorders. THZH is a modulator of nuclear transport and may also act by altering gene expression or inhibiting DNA replication.
