Description :3-Cyclohexyl-1-propanol (CHP) is a white to off-white crystalline solid that is soluble in organic solvents. It is used as a solvent for lipases and as an organic chemical. CHP has a carbon chain with six carbons and two alcohol groups. It contains ether linkages, which are susceptible to cleavage reactions. CHP also contains a bond that can be broken by the addition of heat, which results in the formation of primary alcohols and particles.
