4-(4-Chlorophenyl)-1-[3-[2-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1,3-dithiolan-2-yl]propyl]piperidin-4-ol is a potent and selective inhibitor of the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) that blocks the activation of the epidermal growth factor receptor. It has a molecular weight of 514.44 and a calculated radius of 3.67 Å. 4-(4-Chlorophenyl)-1-[3-[2-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,3-dithiolan-2-yl]propyl]piperidin-4-ol binds to the nucleotide binding site on HER2, preventing phosphorylation by protein kinase A and protein kinase B.
