Description

Cyclopropyl phenyl ketone is a ketone that has been shown to inhibit the growth of Cryptococcus neoformans. It also inhibits atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) and 3-chloroperoxybenzoic acid, which are important for the regulation of water and electrolyte balance in the body. Cyclopropyl phenyl ketone may be used as an anticancer agent due to its ability to inhibit DNA and RNA synthesis in cancer cells. This drug has low toxicity and can be used in pharmaceutical preparations.
