Informations sur le produit
- 2-chloro-N-(2-chlorophenyl)acetamide
2-Chloro-N-(2-chlorophenyl)acetamide is a ciprofloxacin analog that is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It has a chemical structure similar to that of acetanilide and inhibits bacterial growth by binding to the ribosome, preventing protein synthesis. 2-Chloro-N-(2-chlorophenyl)acetamide binds to the chemokine receptor CXCR4 and blocks chemotaxis. This drug also has an antibacterial effect on CHO cells, which are cultured Chinese hamster ovary cells, as well as other bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. The mechanism of inhibition may be due to its ability to bind with chlorine or its dihedral angle.
