Description

2-Chloro-N-cyclohexylacetamide is a non-polar solvent with a molecular orbital that is composed of two atomic orbitals. The thermodynamic stability of the molecule is high due to the lack of hydrogen bonding, which makes it an excellent choice for non-polar solvents. It has been shown to have antimicrobial properties and may be used as an antibacterial in products such as paints or coatings, or as a component in other products. 2-Chloro-N-cyclohexylacetamide has shown optical properties such as a vibrational band at 3010 cm−1 and a chlorine atom that can be seen by infrared spectroscopy.
