Informations sur le produit
- 2-Cyano-N-(2,6-dimethyl-phenyl)-acetamide
- Acetamide, 2-cyano-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-
2-Cyano-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)acetamide (2CDA) is a synthetic organic compound that has been used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other compounds. It is most commonly encountered as the chloride salt, and has no known biological activity. 2CDA is soluble in water and reacts with acids to form iminium ions. It is a weak base that reacts with strong acids to form salts such as chlorides, sulfates, and iminium ions. 2CDA also reacts with alcohols to form ethers and can be used to synthesize oximes from nitroalkanes.
