Description :
2-Chloro 7H-Pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine is a pyrrolopyrimidine that inhibits the transcription factor NF-κB. It has been shown to inhibit the transcription of IL-4 and IL-5 in eosinophils. This inhibition was found to be mediated by the inhibition of NF-κB activity. The molecule has also been shown to have antiinflammatory properties in vitro. 2-Chloro 7H-Pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine is orally bioavailable and can be used for research purposes. In addition, this molecule can be synthesized using palladium catalysis in crosscoupling reactions.
