Description

1-Cyclohexyl-1H-pyrazol-5-amine is a potent inhibitor of human cytochrome P450 enzymes. It can be used to study the inhibition of these enzymes and their interactions with other compounds. 1-Cyclohexyl-1H-pyrazol-5-amine can also be used to study the binding sites on human cytochrome P450, which are located near the active site. The inhibition of human CYP2D6 by 1-cyclohexyl-1H pyrazol 5 amine has been studied extensively in kinetic studies, and it has been found that this compound does not interact with CYP2D6 at its active site but instead interacts with a phenyl group on the enzyme. This interaction causes a decrease in the affinity of CYP2D6 for substrates such as tyrosine hydroxylase, resulting in an increase in the rate of turnover and metabolism of certain drugs.
