Informations sur le produit
- 9H-carbazole
- 9-(chloroacetyl)-
9-(Chloroacetyl)-9H-carbazole (9ClC) is a phenolic compound that is synthesized by the base-catalyzed condensation of methoxy and anisole. It has been shown to scavenge radicals and inhibit lipid peroxidation in biological studies. 9ClC is also an antioxidant, as it prevents the oxidation of other compounds. 9ClC has been found to be effective in inhibiting the growth of bacteria, as well as fungi, including Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger. This may be related to its radical scavenging properties or its ability to inhibit protein synthesis.
