Description

3-Carbamoylphenylboronic acid is a boron derivative that has been shown to have synergistic effects with the drug gabapentin for the treatment of inflammatory pain. 3-Carbamoylphenylboronic acid is also effective as an antinociceptive agent, and has been shown to be more effective than amide or carrageenan in treating nerve injury. The most effective dose of 3-Carbamoylphenylboronic acid is 2 mg/kg. In addition, this compound interacts globally with endocannabinoid systems and is effective on a variety of different animal models of pain.
