Informations sur le produit
- Imidazo[1,2-A]Pyridine, 6-Chloro-
6-Chloroimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine is a chlorinated heterocyclic compound that has been used as an oxidant in organic chemistry. It can be prepared by the oxidation of chloroacetaldehyde with chromium(VI) oxide in the presence of a base. 6-Chloroimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine has found use in pharmaceuticals and other chemical processes because it is inexpensive to produce and stable under basic conditions. 6-Chloroimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine is also used for cross coupling reactions to form ring systems. In this process, two different arylboronic acids are joined together through a six membered carbon chain. This reaction is catalyzed by copper in the presence of palladium as a catalyst.
