Description :
(2-CHLORO-PHENYL)-OXO-ACETONITRILE is an impurity of 3-nitrophthalic acid, phenylglyoxylic acid, mandelic acid and other pharmaceuticals. It is a chiral compound with two optical isomers. (2-CHLORO-PHENYL)-OXO-ACETONITRILE is used as a genotoxic impurity in the detection of antihypertensive drugs by liquid chromatography. The detection time for this impurity is about 5 hours.
