• Description: NLRP3i is a molecule that is orally administered and has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in the heart. NLRP3i reduces pro-inflammatory cytokines and protects against cardiac dysfunction in mice with chronic kidney disease. It also protects against heart failure caused by ischemia reperfusion. This drug has been shown to be effective as a therapy for cancer, with some patients being resistant to chemotherapy, although it is not yet approved for this use.
