Description :4-Chlorobenzoyl chloride (4ClBC) is an organic compound that has been used in the synthesis of new pharmaceuticals and as a chemical intermediate. 4ClBC is an asymmetric molecule that can be synthesized through a process called malonic acid synthesis. The reaction requires hydrochloric acid, hydrogen, and sodium carbonate. 4ClBC has shown antihypertensive activity in animal models.
