Description

Ceftaroline fosamil acetate hydrate is a natural, antibiotic and antiviral drug. It is used to treat bacterial infections and has been shown to be effective against a wide range of microorganisms. Ceftaroline fosamil acetate hydrate binds to the ribosomal RNA of bacteria, preventing the formation of proteins necessary for cell division. This drug also inhibits viral DNA replication by inhibiting the enzyme DNA polymerase in the virus's replication process. Ceftaroline fosamil acetate hydrate has been shown to be highly active against Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Mycobacterium avium complex, and fungi such as Candida species.
