Description

3'-Chloro-2-bromopropiophenone is a synthetic drug that belongs to the group of phenylacetic acid derivatives. It has been shown to be clastogenic and genotoxic in vitro, mediating aneuploidies and chromosomal aberrations. This drug has also been shown to be teratogenic in animals. 3'-Chloro-2-bromopropiophenone is not active as a single agent but may serve as a prodrug for other compounds.
