Description

Coenzyme Q7 is a co-factor that is involved in the production of energy. It aids in the cellular physiology and mitochondrial functions. Coenzyme Q7 is found in the human body and is synthesized by bacteria. The enzyme activities of Coenzyme Q7 depend on its concentration and are regulated by transcriptional control, which may be influenced by sodium citrate. Coenzyme Q7 has been shown to be effective in vitro for the treatment of kidney fibrosis, as well as for neuronal death and other conditions such as congestive heart failure.
