Description

(R,R)-1,2-Cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid is a cyclohexane carboxylic acid which has been used as a pharmaceutical intermediate. It is a chiral molecule with two stereogenic centers and can exist in enantiomeric forms. The (R,R) form of the compound is most commonly used in pharmaceuticals due to its higher solubility in water.
