Description :4-Carboxyphenylboronic acid is a cell culture-tested chemical that is used in vitro to study the transport properties of human serum. It has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the growth of cancer cells and can regulate glucose levels in the blood by binding and deactivating epidermal growth factor (EGF). 4-Carboxyphenylboronic acid has reversible covalent bonds with hydrochloric acid, which allows it to be synthesized from carboxylic acids. This chemical is not very soluble in water, but dissolves well in organic solvents such as methyl ethyl ketone or ethanol. 4-Carboxyphenylboronic acid is a neutral compound that can be found at a pH between 1 and 5.
