Description :
2-Cyanobenzenesulfonyl chloride (2CB) is a potent and selective chemokine receptor antagonist. It blocks the binding of chemokines to their receptors, thereby inhibiting inflammatory responses. 2CB has been shown to be effective against autoimmune diseases, metabolic disorders, bowel disease, and cancer. Additionally, this compound has an inhibitory effect on the production of inflammatory cytokines in a number of animal models of inflammation such as inflammatory bowel disease and colitis.
