• Description: 2-Chloro-4-methylquinoline is a chlorinated aromatic compound. It is synthesized by the Suzuki coupling reaction of 4-chloro-3-nitrobenzaldehyde and 2,4-dimethylphenylboronic acid. 2-Chloro-4-methylquinoline has been used as an analytical reagent to determine the presence of bromine in perfluorinated compounds.
