Description :
4-Carboxy-3-fluorophenylboronic acid is a fluorescent chemical compound. The fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) technique has been used to measure the glucose level in human plasma. 4-Carboxy-3-fluorophenylboronic acid has shown clinical relevance in cancer diagnosis and cancer gene therapy, with acidic properties and ester linkages. It has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of tumor growth in vitro tests, with activation energies for copper complex binding to DNA target gene expression.
