Description :
4-Chloro-3-fluorobenzyl bromide is a synthetic chemical that can be used as an intermediate in the synthesis of dienes or polymers. It has been shown to yield high regioselectivity in the formation of cyclic alkenes, acetylenes, and other aromatics. 4-Chloro-3-fluorobenzyl bromide is able to react with dienophiles such as anthracene and benzaldehyde, with yields of up to 95%. This chemical is synthetically useful because it has a low boiling point and a low melting point.
