Description

Cefcapene pivoxil is an oral cephalosporin that is a prodrug of pivoxil. It is used for the treatment of streptococcal pharyngitis in children and as an oral prodrug for the treatment of various types of bacterial infections, such as those that affect the bowel or other tissues.
