7-Chloro-4-hydrazino-Quinoline is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of heterocyclic compounds. It is a chlorinated derivative of 7-chloroquinoline, a natural product isolated from plants. The chlorine atom in 7-Chloro-4-hydrazino-Quinoline is substituted by hydrogen atoms, which are replaced by hydroxyl groups in the ring. This compound has been shown to have antiproliferation activity against cancer cells and to inhibit mitochondrial membrane potential in vitro. 7-Chloro-4-hydrazino-Quinoline has also been found to have antifungal activity against C. glabrata with methoxy groups on the benzene ring and may be useful as an antiplasmodial agent.
