1-(6-Chloroimidazo[1,2-b]pyridazin-3-yl)ethanone (1CIEP) is a metal halide compound that has a hydroxamic acid group. It is a high yield reaction system with alkylation and alkenylation reactions. The 1CIEP reacts with an alkylator at temperatures between 60 and 150 degrees Celsius. The vibrational spectra of the 1CIEP show an alkenylated product. The 1CIEP can also react with fluorine to produce an annealed product. The conformational changes in the 1CIEP are due to the presence of the hydroxamic acid group.
