Informations sur le produit
Salinomycin sodium is a pharmacological agent that inhibits the intracellular activity of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDE) and blocks the hydrolysis of cAMP. Salinomycin sodium has been shown to cause membrane hyperpolarization, melanogenesis, and neuronal death. The mechanism of action for salinomycin sodium is not fully understood but it is believed that it may be due to its ability to inhibit ion channels or activate cation channels. This drug also has significant cytotoxicity against cancer cells and has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
