Carbomer 934 is a white, odorless powder that is soluble in water. It is an ester formed by the reaction of ethyl decanoate and caproic acid with ethylene glycol. Carbomer 934 has been used as an excipient in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. It is also used as a solvent for drugs, dyes, resins, and oils.
