Description :
3-Cyclopentyloxy-4-methoxybenzaldehyde is a molecule that inhibits the activity of certain enzymes in the body. It has been shown to inhibit phosphodiesterase and lipoxygenase, which are involved in the production of inflammatory mediators. The anticancer potential of 3-cyclopentyloxy-4-methoxybenzaldehyde has been demonstrated through its ability to induce cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. It also triggers an increase in levels of camp, which is a signal for neutrophil activation as well as cellular senescence. 3-Cyclopentyloxy-4-methoxybenzaldehyde has been shown to bind to response element binding protein (REBP) and may have a role in synaptic function.
