4-Chlorophenyl phosphorodichloridate is a monomer that belongs to the group of acid conjugates. It has been shown to be an efficient photosensitizer for the production of singlet oxygen. 4-Chlorophenyl phosphorodichloridate can be used in the manufacture of organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) and displays. This compound can also be used as a photochemical reactant for the synthesis of hydroxylated polymers, which have biological properties such as antiviral activity against herpes simplex virus and anti-inflammatory activities.
