• Description: CPC is a monosodium salt of carboxylic acid, which is produced by the reaction of citric acid and sodium hydroxide. CPC has been widely used in vitro as a reactive to induce cell lysis. It is also used to measure the concentration of human serum albumin in blood plasma. CPC has an acidic pH and can be used as a surfactant for wastewater treatment. The high resistance of CPC to hydrogen fluoride, benzalkonium chloride, and particle makes it suitable for skin cancer treatments.
