Description

Pantothenate is a coenzyme that is essential for the production of acetyl-coA, which is an important molecule in the synthesis of fatty acids and cholesterol. Pantothenate is also involved in the production of acetylcholine, as well as having inhibitory effects on blood pressure. Pantothenate can be found in many foods such as mushrooms, broccoli, and eggs. In addition, pantothenate has been shown to have inhibitory effects on the growth of ganoderma lucidum, a fungus that causes infections in humans. Pantothenate has also been shown to stimulate the production of recombinant proteins and enzymes.
