Description

a-Cyclopentylphenylacetic acid is an ester compound that inhibits the reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen species, which are involved in inflammation. It also has antihypertensive activity and can be used orally to treat high blood pressure. a-Cyclopentylphenylacetic acid has been shown to have antipyretic properties and antimicrobial activity, including inhibition of bacterial overgrowth and hexane production. This drug also has long-acting properties and is used as an anticholinergic agent in the treatment of urinary tract infections.
