- 2-Chloro-1-Fluoro-4-Isocyanatobenzene
3-Chloro-4-Fluorophenyl Isocyanate is a molecule that has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of the EGFR tyrosine kinase. It is used in the treatment of cancer, as well as melanoma and other skin cancers. 3-Chloro-4-Fluorophenyl Isocyanate inhibits the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting protein synthesis, which may be due to its ability to inhibit enzymes such as carbamoyl phosphate synthetase I or methionine synthase. This molecule also displays significant activity against a number of cancer cell lines, including those that are resistant to sorafenib.
