Description :
2,4-Dichlorophenyl boronic acid is a bifunctional reagent that can be used for cross-coupling reactions. It has been shown to inhibit glycogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK3) and other enzymes. 2,4-Dichlorophenyl boronic acid has also been shown to bind to the CB1 receptor, which is found in the central nervous system. The chloride anion present in 2,4-Dichlorophenyl boronic acid binds to the 4-methoxyphenylboronic acid moiety to form a stable complex. This complex is typically used as a chromatographic stationary phase in analytical methods.
