3,5-difluoropyridin-2-amine is a compound that has been shown to be an inhibitor of the hepatitis C virus. It has also been used in pharmaceutical preparations for infectious diseases, such as diabetic neuropathy. Hydrogen bonding plays an important role in the mechanism of 3,5-difluoropyridin-2-amine and its interactions with other molecules. The antimicrobial activity of this molecule has been studied using solid dispersions and molecular modeling techniques. 3,5-Difluoropyridin-2-amine is also a potent antagonist against cervical cancer cells and inflammatory bowel disease cells. It can act as a toxic epidermal agent on skin cells and has been shown to inhibit growth in certain types of cancer cells.
