• Description: 1,2-Dibromo-5-chloro-3-fluorobenzene (1,2-DCF) is a boronic ester that can be used for the synthesis of benzonitrile derivatives. It is an electrophile and reacts with magnesium to form a Grignard reagent. 1,2-DCF has been shown to have high yields and is also a good penetrant.
