Description :
1,3-Diphenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid is an amide that is used as a pharmaceutical intermediate. It has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of the cytochrome P450 enzyme and microsomal p-450s. This inhibition leads to a reduction in the metabolism of other drugs. 1,3-Diphenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid has also been shown to exhibit hypersensitivity reactions in rodents.
