Description :
3,4-Dihydro-2H-1,4-benzothiazine is a synthetic organic solvent that contains chlorine. It has been shown to be reactive in alkali metal amination reactions, dehydrating, and structural modifications with halides and fluorine. 3,4-Dihydro-2H-1,4-benzothiazine is also used for the synthesis of sulfoxides and acyl halides. This compound can be used as a chiral synthon for the preparation of chiral sulfoxides.
