• Description: Dimethylaminoethanethiol (DMAET) is a drug that is used in the treatment of rotator cuff injuries. It has been shown to reduce inflammation by inhibiting the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators in a dose-dependent manner. DMAET also inhibits the production of prostaglandins, which are important mediators in pain transmission. This drug binds to the H2 receptor, which is responsible for regulating gastric acid secretion.
