3,4-Dimethylpyridin-2-amine is a pyrimidine compound that is used in vitro to study the effects of quaternization on the toll-like receptor. It has shown antibacterial efficacy against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. 3,4-Dimethylpyridin-2-amine has been tested as an antidiabetic agent, but it was not found to be effective.
