Informations sur le produit
- Quinazoline, 2,4-dichloro-6-nitro
2,4-Dichloro-6-nitroquinazoline (2,4-DNTQ) is a nitroaromatic compound that has been shown to have prophylactic activity against malaria. It inhibits the growth of plasmodium in culture by preventing their production of ATP. 2,4-DNTQ also has optimal oral doses and can be used as a prophylactic agent for malaria. This drug is synthesized from 2-amino-5-nitrobenzoic acid and piperidine. Condensation of this compound with phosphorus pentachloride produces 2-amino-5-chlorobenzoic acid, which is then reacted with nitrosation to produce 2,4 dichloro 6 nitroquinazoline.
