Description :
2,3-Dihydroimidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-5(1H)-one is an insecticidal compound that has been shown to have strong insecticidal activity against planthoppers, aphids and tetranychus. It is a novel chemical that can be used as a substitute for the toxic and persistent organochlorine pesticides such as endosulfan. This chemical has high biocidal activity against cowpea weevil and cinnabarinus. 2,3-Dihydroimidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-5(1H)-one is a new chemical with modifications on the substituents of the 5 position of the pyridine ring that increases its insecticidal activity.br>
