- 2,5-Dichlorophenylboronic acid
2,5-Dichlorophenylboronicacid is a chemical that belongs to the class of boronic acids. It has been used in cross-coupling reactions with organoboron compounds and is an extracellular toxin. 2,5-Dichlorophenylboronic acid has been shown to have toxicological properties, including neurotoxicity and the ability to inhibit dopamine hydroxylase. This compound has also been shown to be a congener of diazonium salt, which reacts with catalase to produce hydrogen peroxide and can cause cellular damage. 2,5-Dichlorophenylboronic acid has also been found to be an effective inhibitor of PC12 cells in cell culture experiments.
