Description

2,5-Dimethoxyphenylboronic acid is a boronic acid that can be used in cross-coupling reactions. The compound is an effective methyltransferase that can catalyze the transfer of methyl groups to various acceptors. 2,5-Dimethoxyphenylboronic acid is also used in histone methylation and has shown biological functions such as the regulation of gene expression and the control of cellular differentiation.
