Dibenzyl phosphate potassiumsalt is an antiviral agent that inhibits the activity of proteases, including serine proteases. It is prepared by reacting a dibenzyl phosphite with potassium hydroxide in methanol and water. Dibenzyl phosphate potassiumsalt has shown effectiveness against hepatitis B virus and other viruses that have protease activity.
