Description :
2,4-Dichlorophenylhydrazine is a chemical compound with the formula ClCHNHNHCl. It is an intermediate in the synthesis of pyrazole derivatives and has shown to inhibit the growth of HL60 cells. 2,4-Dichlorophenylhydrazine does not bind to any specific receptor but rather inhibits the activity of Cb2 receptors and inhibits the synthesis of protein kinase C. This inhibition may be due to its ability to interfere with chloride channels, as well as other channels that are coupled to G-proteins.
