Description

7,7-Diphenyl-2-(1-imino-2-(2-methoxyphenyl)ethyl)perhydroisoindol-4-one is a cyclase inhibitor that binds to the bradykinin B2 receptor. It has been shown to reduce the size of the bladder and inhibit the occurrence of hypertrophy in rats. 7,7-Diphenyl-2-(1-imino-2-(2-methoxyphenyl)ethyl)perhydroisoindol-4-one also shows antiinflammatory properties in rats by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. This drug is an enantiopure compound and it has been determined that its maximal response occurs when administered at a dose of 10 mg/kg.
